Trim Montrose Paragon Royal Halsey
A vintage lot of ceramic cups &
saucers, featuring delicate floral and character motifs from
makers like Montrose, Paragon, and Royal Halsey.
We are pleased to bring you this lot
of three sets of cups & saucers. Two them, the Paragon and
the Montrose, are done in brilliant floral patterns with a color
explosion of reds, blues, greens, and pinks. The Royal Halsey
has a classic Greco-Roman scene in a garden, complete with a
winged cherub. All three sets have scalloped edges on the saucers
and gold trim on the rims and handles.
The Paragon China Company was a British
manufacturer of bone china from 1919 to 1960, based in Longton,
Stoke-on-Trent, previously known as the Star China Company,
and more recently part of the Royal Doulton group. Paragon was
noted for producing high quality teaware and tableware, and
was granted royal warrants by several members of the British

All three sets seem to be free of cracks,
chips, and crazing. The gold trim is at 80% for the Royal Halsey
cup, although this doesn't ruin the appearance of the cup itself.
