DISNEY OLSZEWSKI STUDIOS DC25 Snow White Microsculpture Limited Edition Evil Witch

An original and rare limited edition Olszewski Studios microsculpture of a scene from the Disney Studios classic animated features Snow White.

We are pleased to offer this limited edition Disney themed microsculpture. Numbering 83 of a limited run of 3,000, this piece, titled 'Buried Alive' was commissioned by Disney and produced by Olszewski Studios. It features a scene from the animated classic 'Snow White' depicting the evil witch poling her boat down the river carrying the poisoned apple on her way to meet Snow White in a detail so fine you can discern the look on her face and even the crack in the skull of the skeleton by the side of the river.

Robert Olszewski is an internationally acclaimed painter and sculptor who has specialized in the fine art of micro-sculpture for nearly twenty-five years. Sophisticated collectors around the world prize his work. Inspired by classical themes and moving personal experiences, each Olszewski micro-sculpture is a study in anecdotal detail and graceful animation. Each piece is the defining moment of a story that unfolds before our eyes. Micro-sculpture's dramatically intimate scale encourages close inspection and concentration. Through the simple act of looking, an Olszewski micro-sculpture engages the viewer, offering a respite from the mundane.

This microsculpture is 4 1/2 inches wide, 2 1/2 inches high, and 2 1/8 inches front to back. It weighs 8 ounces.

The sculpture is dusty from storage, but contains no breakages, scrapes or scuffs.

This brilliant example of microsculpture would appeal to collectors of Olszewski works and Disneyana alike.
