6 CLASSIC 1960's COMEDY LOBBY CARDS Flintstones LAUREL & HARDY Jackie Gleason
Six (6) Movie Lobby Cards from classic 1960's comedies.
We are pleased to present this lot of six (6) Lobby Cards for your consideration. They come from three classic Comedy Movies from the 1960's.
The Lobby Cards were acquired by Laurence and Sally Martin, owners of Studio Antiques, on the Travel Channel hit reality TV show Baggage Battles (season 4, episode 13, titled "The Wizard of Odd" and filmed in Toronto, Canada). The cards offered here were seen briefly during the episode, but were not a featured item. We've included a few clips from the episode among our pictures.
The Lobby Cards measure a standard 11 inches high by 14 inches wide. The backs are unmarked. You will receive the following:
The Man Called Flintstone. Numbered 66/260 with a 1966 copyright date. Cards do not have individual numbers. Paper darkened a bit from age, with some corner creases and faint edge stains. Both are in very good overall condition.
Papa's Delicate Condition. Numbered 63/35 with a 1962 copyright date. Number 5 and 7 cards. Staple holes in corners, very slight edge and corner wear. A few scuffs of soil on one. The overall condition of both is very good.
Leave 'Em Laughing. Numbered 65/201 with a 1965 copyright date. Number 1 and 7 cards. One (the number 1 card) has a label changing the title from Laughing 20's to Leave 'Em Laughing. The other appears to have the label peeled off, revealing most of the original title. Both have paper darkened a bit from age, along with some gentle creases. Their overall condition is very good.
